 The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, given to companies with outstanding entrepreneurship and economic performance, was given this year to Ishida Europe. International producer of weighing and packaging equipment received the highest accolade in United Kingdom and North Ireland for increasing its exports as a percentage of total turnover from 65 to 76 percent. In order to achieve such results, the company implemented a strategy facilitating both increased market penetration in established markets, and entering into new geographical regions. „From our establishment in 1984, we hale always recognized that we operate in a global market and established a business model that ensures our customers receive the same high standards of service and support wherever they are in the world. The winner of the Queen’s Award has the right to use for 5 years the Queen’s Award emblem for marketing and advertising purposes, including printing it on packaging of its products for emphasizing its unique quality.
