The carnival madness usually begins after the New Year , however, UPM Raflatac had started celebrating already in December by organizing the annual Christmas meeting with regular customers and partners in a unique setting. This time it was special for two reasons.
First, it coincided with the fifth anniversary of the label materials production launch in Poland. Secondly, it was held in one of the most valuable monuments in Poland, protected by UNESCO and annually visited by over million tourists from around the world. “We took you this year to a magical place. We are standing 125 meters underground in the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is a wonderful combination of nature and architecture. We wanted to celebrate this year in a unique way (...) . Thank you for the fruitful cooperation over the years of our presence in Poland. We want you to feel the spirit of our company today, which we call the «Raflatouch» (... ). This means that we really care about you and you can constantly rely on us. Today we want to prove it once again”, with these words Jani Konkarikoski , CEO of UPM Raflatac, greeted the guests. These original underground Christmas party was honored by arrival of the mythical figure Joulupukki from Lapland, which is the Finnish equivalent of Santa Claus.
